Full steam ahead in three Cheshire Villages

The lucky residents of Crowton, Kingsley and Norley will soon have access to a full fibre broadband, with RuralFibre4U’s network set for completion this spring.

This project is one of many the specialist engineering team is building for FACTCO, a Liverpool-based internet service provider.

Build Manager John McKeating is delivering the network alongside his team of full fibre experts who are excited to be part of a project that will futureproof this rural community.

“No two builds are the same, and with this area being so rural, we’re coming across new challenges that we haven’t on other sites,” John said.

“The team is cracking on well though and everyone’s working harder than ever, especially in this colder weather!”

Because locals have been battling slow, unreliable broadband for years, John says that feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with everyone expressing their excitement to take full advantage when it’s available.

“This build will be life-changing for so many, and we can’t wait for it to be finished so FACTCO can start connecting homes and businesses.”

Those in Crowton, Kingsley and Norley can expect to see RuralFibre4U and FACTCO staff on site over the next few months.

“We welcome residents to come and say hello or ask any questions they might have.”
